Bedford High School students use educational technology to apply business, marketing and design skills learned in the classroom to operate their Online Mule Store. Visitors to the Online Mule Store can shop for and purchase items to show their school spirit.
Ida Elementary students use SmartBoards in their science labs to illustrate lessons on energy and power, and incorporate robotics. Teachers and students use the touch-activated features of the SmartBoard to engage in interactive lessons.
High School students at Knabusch Math & Science Center blend technology, analysis and instrumentation devices, and hands-on field work with traditional classroom techniques to learn about their environment and the Lake Erie watershed.
Mason Middle School teachers and students blend traditional methods with classroom sets of laptop computers, online wikispaces and data projectors to enrich their curriculum.
Monroe Virtual High School is a free, on-line blended learning program that allows Monroe Public Schools students not currently attending school to resume their education and take challenging credit classes in a flexible setting. Students combine in-person meetings with their teacher / mentor and online coursework to complete the classes.
Whiteford and Summerfield High School students utilize educational technology to share math classes over the Monroe County Interactive Video Network, or IVN.
