There is a relatively new academic program available in Monroe County that is changing the way that  local students can pursue their dreams of college and careers.

The Monroe County Middle College is in its second full year of operation. The Middle College embraces a philosophy and concept that is new to many people – especially to parents who help their children make decisions about how to realize goals for higher education and job opportunities.

The Monroe County Middle College is a collaboration between the Monroe County Intermediate School District, Monroe County Community College, and Mercy Memorial Hospital System. It is designed to provide Monroe County students with early entry into a health careers program.
